Easy Reads now in the shops

The new Easy Reads are now available to buy from the shops. You can find them in Tesco, Sainsburys, Asda, Smiths and other large newsagents. Here's a picture of mine, which is among the first four. Please excuse the quality, my scanner is offline, and I had to take this with my ipad.

As you can see it has been renamed Bonfire Memories and is under the 'Intrigue' genre. The other three books available are:

Tribal Connections by Stephanie Todd (under the Caress genre)
Hushed Words by Angela Britnell (Liaison)
Web of Fear by Julie Coffin (Suspense)

All four books will be on sale until 15th November so there's plenty of time for you to get one. But I'm holding a giveaway of mine over on my Blog so if you'd like the chance to win a copy come on over.

  2. I honestly don't know, Soapfan. Maggie said they were going to contact subscribers, so perhaps it's worth getting in touch with DC Thomson if you haven't heard anything.

  3. Thanks for the mention Sally! Cornwall must truly be the back of beyond because the Smiths in Truro didn't have it but another friend in Dorchester found it at the one there. Love your cover and let's hope they sell well.

    1. Hi Angela, it's great to meet another pocketeer! I had a job getting mine, as I had to get the man at Tesco to go back and look for mine. They hadn't put them on the shelves yet, and this was on launch day!

  4. Another friend was going to check at Asda so I'm waiting to hear if she was successful. I'll be there myself when my 2nd comes out on 15 November so it'll be interesting to see how easy or hard they are to find. Maybe we'll meet up at an RNA conference one day?

  6. Bought yours in Tesco yesterday, Sally, and they really stood out in front of the magazines. Love the look and feel of them - definitely more like short books.

  9. News!!! I´ve just known from someone at DC Thomson the following:

I was going to email you today to let you know that there has been a change. My Weekly Pocket Novel customers will not be transferred over to Bridges and Knights.

The Editor of My Weekly has resurrected the Pocket Novels so next month My weekly pocket novels will be back again.

    Did you know that??????
